Ingredients

For the Rosemary Whipped Cream
(makes around 1 cup)

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, cold
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar

For the Concord Grape Cornbread
(makes one 8-inch square pan)

  • 1/2 cup plus 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour, divided into 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoon and 1 tablespoon portions
  • 1/2 cup fine-ground yellow cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • 6 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 pound Concord grapes, stemmed and seeds removed, divided into 2 equal portions
