Meatballs:
1 pound Ground Turkey
1⁄2 Cup white onion minced
1⁄3 Cup celery minced
1⁄4 Cup carrots minced
1⁄2 teaspoon granulated garlic
1⁄2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 whole egg
1 teaspoon Italian herb mix
2 teaspoons salt
1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
2 Tablespoons water
Glaze:
1⁄3 Cup Blueberry Ketchup
2 Tablespoons light brown sugar
1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
Preheat your oven to 375F
Blend all meatball ingredients until well combined. Portion out 12 two-ounce meatballs onto a foiled and lightly oiled sheet pan.
Mix the glaze ingredients until smooth and well combined. Glaze the top of each meatball with 2 teaspoons of the blueberry glaze. Place into the oven
and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Remove and allow to cool slightly before serving. Makes for a great appetizer or place into warmed French rolls for a creative sandwich.
